Band Profile - Vortech
Vortech's music combines extreme music, electronic spices and ambient feel with all-out drumming and a futuristic & apocalyptic backdrop. Every now and then there are progressive elements included and the time signatures launch into wild directions. The band was formed in 2000 by Juha Untinen and Tero Konola, originally called Aftershock and soon Sound Ogre. A year after Tero's departure in 2004, the name was changed into the current one. Two full length albums were composed and released in 2006 and 2007. A third full length album is being worked on for a 2008 release.
